Use
instructions:
1-
From the applications menu choose
SalatTimes and choose Open
from the options menu

2-
The application will open at the
main page with the default sitting
for the city

Changing the default city:
1-
From the options menu select
Cities

2-
Enter the first letter of the city
you want to change to.
3-
Select Search from the
options menu
4-
The application will display a list
of all saved cities, from the World
Cities list select your city
*
Note: if the city you want is not
displayed in the World Cities list
you can add the city to the list.
See (Adding new city) section

5-
From the options menu select
Set
as default
*
Note: after selecting Set as
default the application takes
few seconds to complete the process,
this period depends on your mobile
processor heap size, so please wait
for the application to display the
World Cities list again.
6-
After displaying the World Cities
list, select
Back
*
Note: after selecting Back
the application takes few seconds to
complete the process, this period
depends on your mobile processor
heap size, so please wait for the
application to display the main
screen again
7-
The application will display the
main screen again with the new city
name and the date on the top of the
screen, and the times for the five
prayers of that day
Adding new City:
To add new city
to the World Cities list:
1-
Go to the World Cities list (steps
1 to 3 in the changing default
city section)
2-
From the options menu select
New
City

3-
In the New City form, fill in
the required fields with the
directions data of the new city
In this manual we use Cairo as an
example
a-
Get the City directions data
(Latitude and Longitude degrees and
minutes / the north, south, east and
west directions / the GMT offset)

d- Select Save.

The World Cities list will be
displayed again with the new city
added to it

To set the new city as your default
city, follow the steps (5 to 8) in
the (Changing the default city
section)
Editing City:
You can change
the directions data of an existing
city in the World Cities List
as follows:
1-
On the World Cities list
scroll to the city with the up
and down arrows
2-
From the options menu select Edit
City
3-
Fill in the form fields as mentioned
in the (add new city section) step 3
Salat Settings:
Salattimes allow
you to customize the settings to
suit the different users from the
different Islamic countries by
allowing the change of:
1-The
prayers time calculation method
2-The
Mathhab for calculating the Asr
prayer time
3-
Day light saving use
4-Enabling
Alarm
5-
Setting the Alarm time before or
after the prayer time and specifying
the delay minutes
To change any
of the settings:
1-
From the options menu at the main
page select Salat Settings
2-From
the Salat Settings form,
scroll to the settings you want to
change by using the up and
down arrows
3-
To select a setting scroll to that
setting with the up and
down arrows and from the options
menu choose Select ,then the
selected button will be marked
4-For
editing the number of minutes,
choose Edit from the options
menu
5-After
setting the new settings select
Save
Prayers time
calculation method:
You can change the prayer times
calculation method, the available
options are the methods used in the
Islamic countries:

Egyptian Survey Authority
-Umm
Al-Qura
-ISNA
-
Karachi Islamic University
The Mathhab for
calculating the Asr prayer time:
The options for calculating Asr time
in the Islamic countries are
-
Mathhab Shaf'ee (Mazhab Shaf'ee)

Mathhab Hanafi (Mazhab Hanafi)
Day light
saving:
You can choose to
enable the day light saving or not
by selecting Yes or No
from the Salat Settings form.
Alarm
-
You can choose to enable the alarm
or disable it by selecting Yes
or No
-
You can choose to set the alarm at
the prayer time, before the prayer
time or after the prayer time
-
If you choose the Before or After
prayer time, then you can specify
the number of minutes before or
after the prayer time to sit the
alarm at
*Note:the
alarm is one peep with alert on the
screen. and the alarm will work only
if the application is open |
